MAGNETIC RESONANCE, MRI is a painless test that does not use X-rays and therefore emits no radiation to the patient, as if happens for example in a CT or conventional plain radiography.

For some types of scanning it is necessary to use as gadolinium contrast which is supplied intravenously.
