It is useful for the prevention of stroke, since it allows to rule out atheromatous lesions or atheroma plaques and allows a hemodynamic assessment and study of the blood flow to the brain.<\/p>\n<p>In preventive check-ups, the vascular study is complemented with an Echo-Doppler at the level of the popliteal arteries of the legs, to analyze stenosis and possible varicose
